Erma H. "Auntie" Patterson, a resident of Port Allen, and native of Maringouin, passed from this life into eternal life on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the age of 98. She was a very dedicated homemaker and resident of Port Allen for over 75 years.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her great nephew whom she reared as a son, Floyd Marshall and wife Mary; sister, Emily Simon; great-great niece, Coco (Gerald) Coleman; great-great nephew, Dilnell Johnson; great-great-great nieces, Paris and London; special caregiver nieces, Edna Givens, Eula Jackson, Joyce Hawkins and Linda Adams; two sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, and a special caregiver niece, Patricia Diane Williams.
