Services for Rev. Douglas F. Bush, 90, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Bush passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home. Rev. Earl Warnock and Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate.
Rev. Bush was the son of the late Charlie Crawford Bush and the late Ethel Stewart Bush. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trellie Lillian Graham Bush. He was retired from J. P. Stevens after 37 years of service. He was an Ordained Baptist Minister since 1961 and served as Pastor of various churches in Laurens and surrounding counties. Currently he was a member of Union Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
