Scott Dale Klitzing, 10-year-old son of Roger and Velma Cohea Klitzing of Altamont, died at 4:05 pm Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1987, at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. from injuries sustained in an accident near his home.
The funeral will be at 11 am Saturday at St. Paul (Blue Point) Lutheran Church, Altamont, with burial in the church cemetery.
Scott was born May 9, 1977.
He was a fifth-grade student at Altamont Lutheran Interparish School and a member of ALIS baseball and basketball teams and of St. Paul (Blue Point) Lutheran Church, Altamont, where he was involved in youth activities.
Surviving are his parents; brothers, David and Joshua, both at home; grandparents, Arland and Vivian Klitzing of Altamont and Betty Cohea of Effingham.
