Born October 10, 1944 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Dester E. "Buck" and Ruth E. (Wagaman) Freeman.
Sandy was retired from D.F. Stauffer Cookie Co. in York and after retiring she worked part-time at McDonalds in New Oxford. She was a member of Hanover First Church of God, and was a 1962 graduate of Littlestown High School. She enjoyed attending her grandchildrens sporting events, traveling and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, Kathy Shorb and her husband, Kevin and Toby Altland and his wife, Shelly all of Hanover; two grandchildren, PFC Trey Altland and his wife, Tarrin and Alexis Altland; one great-grandson, Lukas Altland; and one brother; "Dusty" Freeman of Westminster, MD.
Services and burial for Sandy will be private.
