Lupe Acosta went to be with our Lord Sept. 30th, 2011. A rosary service will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Lupe was very dedicated to her family and her Catholic faith. She enjoyed her garden and had a passion for flowers, especially roses, and loved playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Aniseto Acosta, a retired Catholic Deacon; one daughter, Rosa Perales and husband Freddy; three sons, Johnny Ortiz and wife Lupe, Joe Acosta Jr. and wife Eileen, and Tony Acosta and wife Adelina; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Msgr. David Cruz officiating with cremation to follow under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Interment will be in O'Donnell after cremation.
Lupe will be greatly missed.
