Alvis Rites To Be Here Thusday
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Canaday-Boos funeral chapel for Charles H. Alvis, 42, Momence resident for 10 years who died at his home at Argo where he had moved three years ago. Burial will be in the Momence cemetery.
Mr. Alvis was born February 11, 1923, at Terra Haute, Indiana. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Momence, his mother, Mrs. Ella Alvis of Argo, and a sister, Mrs Virginia Jacusis.
