George V. Gayton, 91, New Salem, died Sept. 21, 2004, at a New Salem nursing home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Fort Yates. Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery, Fort Yates.
He is survived by two daughters, Ann Gayton-Good Bird, Mandaree, and Georgia Lufkins, Townsend, Mont.; one son, Charles Augustine, Pierre, S.D.; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
