Mrs. Lillian A. Franklin died May 17, 2010, in Palm Beach, Fla. She was 88. Born in Jersey City, Lillian grew up in Brooklyn (Bensonhurst), moved to Lakewood after her marriage to her beloved Joseph in 1943, and lived here for 20 years. She was an active member of Temple Beth Am.

She attended New York University and received a bachelor's degree in education. She was a teacher in the Morris County city schools and retired 42 years ago. She loved to travel, and enjoyed the theater, ballet, and the fine arts. Foremost, she loved and enjoyed her family.

She was predeceased by her dear husband, Joseph, and her daughter, Judith Marrisa. Interment at Beth Olam Memorial Park. Arrangements by Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood. Memorial donations may be made to The Kravitz Center for the Performing Arts, 701 Okeechobee Blvd., W. Palm Beach, Fla. 33401-6323.
