Chris died unexpectedly June 4, 2012; age 65. Husband of Tricia O'Connell King; father of John; brother-in-law of Jan (Ken) Caldwell, Rick (Susie) O'Connell, Joan Sobczak, Tim (Lin) O'Connell, Carol (Ric) Mitchell and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Chris served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired volunteer for Waterford and Independence Township fire departments. He was a former EMT and paramedic and enjoyed working at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital emergency room. He owned and operated Personalized Cellular and Computers and was a member of Oakland County Sportsmen's Club. Funeral service Saturday 9:00 a.m. at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston where friends may visit Friday 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
