His wife of 51 years, Claudia Gay Crump; as well as his children, son Jon E "Skip", Jr. (Kim), daughter Ladessia Franklin (Kris) and son Christopher (Seval), were all at his side.
Jon retired in 2000 after a long career in the data management sector having worked for Unisys and Mt. Clemens General Hospital. He was an active member of the Board of Trustees for Central United Methodist Church of Waterford, Michigan where he was loved and respected for his resourcefulness, insight and his unique sense of "humor."
In addition to his wife and children, Jon is survived by his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Crump, 95, of Tulsa, OK; and grandchildren Gabrielle Marie Franklin, Olivia Reed Franklin, Zara Deniz Crump and Scott Zachary Crump. His life will be remembered this Spring with a Memorial Service at Central United Methodist Church in Waterford, Michigan.
