She was christened Sept. 7, 1913 at Our Saviour's Danish Church, 193-95 Street Brooklyn, N.Y.
She was an excellent typist, fast and accurate, and won Certificates of Merit in typing contests. She worked in a medical office as a medical transcriber and secretary.
Nick and Eleanor were married in the Bronx Borough Hall December 11, 1936. They had no children, but, later in life adopted their nephew Ted Chiarenza and cared and loved him as their own.
Eleanor and Nick were two special people. Their love for one another was always evident to those around them. They were child-like in their enthusiasm for everything they encountered. It was a joy to know both of them.
