My dearest Grandmother,
whom I never knew,
Emigrated from your Country of birth
So that your descendants would
Have the opportunities and joys
Of being born and raised in a
free Country.
I am humbly grateful
to be one of your descendants
I carry your name, genes
and heritage proudly.
Your loving granddaughter,
Geraldine Elizabeth D'Amato Olbermann
