Mrs. Volentine leaves behind two sisters, Ellen Sharp of Charleston, Arkansas and Oma Lee Armstrong of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Joe Dean Valentine and his wife, Marjorie, of Kingsport, Tennessee, Mary Louise Freels and her husband, Clay, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Bobbie Jean Dyer of Knoxville, Tennessee; and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Volentine is preceded in her death by her parents; her husband, William Travis Volentine; her son and daughter-in-law, Carroll Dean Valentine and his wife, Jo Ann; one brother, Marvin Price; and one sister, Frances Wayne Price.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2009. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the Oakland Cemetery, in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Reverend David Hanshaw officiating.
