Rosary for Walter James Colman, 74, of Tyler, will be recited 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic church with Monsignor Milam J. Joseph officiating.
Burial will be in Cathedral In The Pine Cemetery under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home of Tyler.
Mr. Colman died Monday night at a Tyler hospital. (12 30 85). He was born Jan. 29, 1912 in Houston and lived most of his life at Palestine. He lived in Tyler since retirement in 1974 as a timekeeper for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, for which he worked 46 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and Immaculate Conception
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Irene Yoder Colman, Tyler; a son, Charles Colman, Trinidad; four daughters, Mrs. Martha McKamie, Whitehouse, Mrs. Jeanne Rozelle and Mrs. Kay Bates, both of New Chapel Hill, and Mrs. Anne Sager, Lewisville; 18
grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Charles Colman, Michael Colman, Danny Colman, Greg Rozelle, Ricky Hunter and Christopher Joseph.
