Father of 10 children Sarah Marshall Wilder 1772-1846, Joseph Marshall 1774-1863, Caleb Marshall 1777-1860, Amasa Marshall 2nd. 1779-1845, Samuel Marshall 1780-1867, Lucy Marshall Kimball 1782-1841, Phila Marshall Russell 1785-1859, Esther A. Marshall Marshall 1788-1865, Orra Marshall 1792-1866, Perley Marshall 1798-1816. Married second Wife Mehitable (?) Currier widow of Peter Currier after the death of Dorcus in 1811.Taken from Soldiers and Sailors Archives 1908 pg.266

Col. R. Woodbridge regt., which marched on the alarm of April 19. 1775; ser
vice 11 days; also, Capt. Reuben Dickenson's co., Col. Woodbridge's regt;
muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775; enlisted May 1, 1775; service 3 mos. 8 days.

Clement Marshall from Amherst: Colonel Ruggles Woodbridge Hampshire County Regiment.Reuben Dickinson's company which was the first to respond to the Lexington Alarm of April 19, 1775. The company marched to Cambridge and was in commission for 11 days, although some its members remained longer in service. Captain Reuben Dickinsons company served for three months and eight days, from May 1st. This company took part in the battle of Bunker Hill, but was not in the intrenchments.
