Services for June Burnison Anderson, 67, of Clovis will be held on Tuesday, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at 16th and Pile Church of Christ. David Tarbett and Gary Bodine will officiate.
Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Anderson died on Saturday, March 3, 1990, in Clovis. She was born on June 15, 1922, in Munday, Texas. She moved to Clovis in June of 1951. She taught school in Perryton, Texas, for four years and started teaching at Sandia Elementary in Clovis in August of 1966, and retired in November, 1984.
She graduated from Texas Tech University and received a master of elementary education at ENMU in 1967. She was a member of 16th and Pile Street Church of Christ and a lifetime member of Nation Education Association. Sh emarried O. L. (Jack) Anderson on Oct. 22, 1942, in Munday, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, O.L. (Jack) Anderson, of the home; three daughters, Linda Gentry, Richmond, Wash., Debra June Anderson, Dallas, Texas, and Judy Wilson, Atlanta, GA.; three sisters, Maxine Hipple, Houston, Texas, Geraldine Thompson, Dallas, Texas, and Mary Anderson, Albuquerque; and one grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association or a favorite charity.
