Mary (Lester)Dagnall was born to John and Ann (Penketh) Lester in March of 1829 in Whiston, Lancashire, England, and she was baptised on 8 Mar 1829 at St Mary Prescot. Mary grew up in St Helens and married James Dagnall on 20 May 1849 at Rainford in the Parish of Prescot. She had eight children who would spread all across England and the United States. Mary (Lester) Dagnall died in early april 1908 her body was interred in St Helens Cemetery on 10 Apr 1908.
