Services for Mrs. Alta Carma Ackley, 49, who died at her home, 3361 Granada Ave., yesterday after a short illnes, will be held this afternoon at 3:30 at Johnson-Saum Mortuary. Dr. Howard B. Bard will officiate. Cremation will follow.
A Native of South Dakota, Mrs. Ackley had been a San Diego resident 20 years. She was a nurse in the World War and a past president of the Adelphian society.
Mrs. Ackley is survived by her husband, Dr. John F. Ackley; two children, George C and Peggy Ackley; a brother, John Mellott of Los Angeles, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph H. Koch, of Denton, Mont.
