David Mark Moye, age 58, is now at peace with his heavenly father. David passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on October 23, 2013. David was born in Knoxville, TN, on November 7, 1954. David graduated from Bearden High School, Knoxville. Upon graduation, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He then attended the University of Tennessee and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He also attended University of Memphis, and graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Construction Management. David spent most of his adult life working in South Florida and then in New Mexico. He was an avid hunter, bicyclist, and enjoyed exercising daily. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. C.G. Moye and Mr. and Mrs. Tandy Monday; his mother, Marjorie Monday Moye; and his wife, Sandy Moye. He is survived by his best and dearest friend, Cheryl Sands of Boca Raton, FL; his father Thomas D. "Dug" Moye, Sr. and stepmother Glenna Moye; brother Thomas D. Moye, Jr. and wife Debbie as well as niece Whitney Moye Smith and husband Jeremiah, and sons Aiden and Jeremiah Thomas; nephews Jonathan Moye and Brett Moye and wife Laura; stepsister Pamela McClure and stepbrother Stephen Ducker. David loved life, loved his family and friends, and had no earthly enemies. He will be sadly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Wounded Warriors Project would be appreciated.
