Jan is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Herman Brownson. She is survived by her son Tim Brownson and his wife Debra; daughter Teresa Stringer and her husband Victor; grandsons Colton Brownson and William Stringer; and her brothers Robert Garnett and Sam Garnett.
