Rebecca Dolores Andrus, the daughter of Emil Willis and Evelyn Dougherty Willis was born on Oct. 22, 1922, in Garibaldi, and passed away on May 18, in Nehalem, at the age of 76 years.
"Becky" as she was known by family and friends grew up in Garibaldi, Tillamook and then graduated from McMinnville Jr. High School and McMinnville High School.
After completing her schooling Becky joined the WAVES for World War II where she served as a pharmacy mate in the Medical Corp. After her discharge from the service, she returned to Tillamook where she was united in marriage to Lorain "Stub" Andrus on Jan. 5, 1946.
Besides raising her family Becky served as a partner with her husband with the Spudnut Cafe, 24 Flavors Ice Cream Store and the Sea Shell Cafe. After her retirement, Becky became very interested in antiques, buying and selling them as well as assisting others with estate sales. She is survived by her husband Stub of Nehalem; two sons: Steven Andrus, Bend; Patrick Andrus, Rockaway Beach and two grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation with no formal services planned. Arrangements in care of Waud's Funeral Home and Crematory.
