Marie E. Currivean, age 84, of Brownstown, died on Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Monroe, Michigan. Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 5 to 8 PM and Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 12 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 10 AM. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, La Salle, MI. Born September 13, 1925 in Berlin Township, Michigan she was the daughter of Fred and Leona (Burbo) Venier. On June 15, 1974 she married Claude "Bud" Currivean in the Church of Christ, Monroe, MI. Marie was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Monroe. Her parents, husband and 2 great-grandchildren preceded her in death. She is survived by 2 sons, Bud (Diane) Venier of Ohio and Gary (Carol) Venier of Flat Rock; a daughter, Pat (Bruce) Atkinson of Monroe; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
