Pauline Schoenemann Long died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. She was born on May 15, 1918 in Washington County and attended school in Brenham, Texas. On February 1, 1945 she married Travis A. Long who was the love of her life and her sole mate until his death on January 5, 2007. Their 62 year marriage was a wonderful union and was always based on their love for their family and friends and their undying faith in Jesus Christ. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Travis A. Long, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Austin, her son, Paul W. (Lucky) Long and his wife, Debbie, grandchildren, Jason Long and his wife, Brittany, Lori Witt and her husband, Kevin, Kelly Pettit and her husband, Bo, Kristin Long, great grandchildren, Preston, Tanner, Skyler, Cullen, Landon and Payton. The family would also like to especially thank Lillie Taylor for the loving care she provided for Mom in the later years.
