Retired Clerk Taken By Death

Carlisle D. Pettigrew of 7677 Barton Drive died in a hospital today. He had been a resident of El Paso for 52 years.

Mr. Pettigrew was a retired clerk for the Texas and New Orleans Railroad. He worked for the railroad since 1911.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks.

He is survived by his widow, Cassie*; two sisters, Mrs. George Chant and Mrs. Frank D. Amell, both of El Paso; one brother, George of El Paso; one nephew, Carlisle Pettigrew of El Paso; and two nieces, Mrs. 0. E. Whaley of Alamogordo and Mrs. J. B. Lockhart of Tucson.

Funeral services are pending with Harding and Orr Funeral Home.
