Evelyn J. Abdo, 72, of Aurora, passed away at her home on December 14, 2000. She was born on March 29, 1928 in East Butler, PA to the late Stephen and Anna Daniels.
Evelyn retired after 28 years at Riverdale Coat Corporation in 1993. She was an avid crochet and knitter. Evelyn was a most loving mother, grandmother and dear friend.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Abdo, Jr. of Kaufman, TX; her daughter, Patricia Abdo (Ray) von Loewe of St. Charles; two grandchildren, Timothy D. Abdo of Aurora and Alexander M. Abdo of St. Charles; one great grandson, Timothy J. Abdo of Aurora; four brothers, Eugene (Betty) Daniels, Daniel (Judith) Daniels, James (Elizabeth) Daniels and David (Nancy) Daniels and one sister, Shirley (Paul) Homa all of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Daniels and her sister, Matilda Daniels.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. with a funeral service at 5 p.m. on December 17, 2000 at The Healy Chapel. 332 W. Downer Pl. Aurora, IL 60506. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Butler, PA on Wednesday, December 20, 2000.
