Venita Kreyling, 72, of Montgomery City, MO, died at 8:25 PM on April 18, 2007, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.
Venita Florence Kreyling was born Nov. 10, 1934, in Waltson, MO, to Ray C. Wisdom and Hallie Sparks Wisdom. She married Walter D. Kreyling in 1975 in O'Fallon, MO. Venita drove a school bus for many years. Venita was a member of the Bellflower Baptist Church in Bellflower, MO. She was very active in her church working with the youth and with music. She enjoyed working with arts and crafts, loved to do yard work and always had a beautiful yard; and enjoyed playing the piano, she could play anything by ear. Venita loved spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Kreyling is survived by her husband, Walter D. Kreyling, of Montgomery City, MO; her mother, Hallie Sparks Wisdom of New Florence, MO; by four children: Brenda Myers and husband, Benny, of Jackson, MO; Donna March and husband, Mike, of Montgomery City, MO; Gina Barley and Jeffrey Barley, both of Bellflower, MO; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters: Charlotte Nichols and husband, Alvin; Donald Wisdom and wife, Mary; William Steven Wisdom; Dorothy Brown and husband, Ed; Calvin Wisdom and wife, Pat; Renee McDowell and husband, Benny; and Debbie Dannemuller and husband, Donald; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray C. Wisdom and one granddaughter, JoAnne.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM on April 21, 2007, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Rev. Jim Guffie officiated and interment was in the Jonesburg City Cemetery in Jonesburg, MO. Visitation was from 5-8 pm on Friday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.
