June Phyllis Bassett, 88, Salina died December 15, 2009. She was born November 20, 1921, in Verdi, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Bassett. Survivors include three daughters, Judith Lamer, Jane Vargas, and Jeanette Bates, one son, Michael Bassett, all of Salina, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, December 18, 2009 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. The funeral will be Saturday, December 19, 2009 2:00 P.M. at the Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral or Kay Pogue Hospices of Salina.
