Larry was born on November 1, 1942 in San Marcos, Texas to Charlie and Era Bane. After graduating from high school, he served honorably as a member of the Texas National Guard before marrying and raising a family. He worked diligently as a painting contractor, insurance salesman and property manager, but in his spare time he enjoyed watching all sports, especially supporting the Texas Longhorns and Texas Rangers. He had a great love of country music and singing, but above all, his love was golf and played as often as he could a member of the Georgetown Country Club.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Kenneth Daniels; and brother, Archie Bane. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife, Rhetta Sanders; son, Jeff Bane and wife Debbie; daughter, Pennie Chandler and husband Ron Schlabach; son, Lance Bane and wife Darlene, step-daughter, Lori Webb and husband Kelly; step-son, David Sanders and wife Meredith; and brother Rodger Bane and wife Carolyn; grandchildren: Jeremy, Tabitha, Casey, Matthew, Sara, Luke, Bailey, Nolan, Keeli, Jake, Marleigh and Sarah; and five great-grandchildren.
