"The LaFayette Sun" - June 7, 1905:

Mrs. J. V. Trammell Dies.

On the morning of the 26th of May, just as the sun was ascending the eastern skies, spreading its gentle rays over the rugged hills, the spirit of Mrs. Sabrina Trammell, relict of John V. Trammell, ascended from earth to heaven. This noted lady was born August 14, 1847, married to the above named gentleman in February 1873. Into this home was born four children, all of whom survive, besides other relatives and friends to mourn her death.
Mrs. Trammell had been in feeble health for some time, but her death was not so soon expected.
She was a kind mother, a good neighbor, and a true Christian, having been a member of the Presbyterian Church for a number of years.
May the bereaved find consolation in the fact that she is now at rest in a better world.
