Lyla K. O'D. Drommond
Lyla K. O'Driscoll Drommond, 77, 1404 California ave., died sunday at 5:10 p.m. in a Salt Lake City hospital of a cerebral hemorrage. Born Oct. 29, 1872, in Wilkesharre, Pa., she was a daughter of frank and Lyla Corson Krebs. Mrs Drommond attended the Mount Scholastica academy Atchison, Kans. She was married to Edward O'Driscoll in May, 1891, and they moved to Silverton, Colo. He died in 1900. In 1905 she was married to L. C. Drommond who died in 1933. Mrs. Drommond at one time resided in Rico, Colo., and served as county clerk and recorder of Delores county, Colo. Surviving Mrs. Drommond are three sons; Frank E. O'Driscoll, Murry; F. W. O'Driscoll, Salt Lake City and Hugh C. Drommond, Riverton; a daughter, Mrs. Helen D. Gardner, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; a great-grandchildren and a stepsister, Mrs. Pearl Fallon, Los Angeles. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at 2760 S. State, where friends may call Monday and Tuesday. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial park.
