CAROFF–Alice D., 90, Sidman, died Good Friday, April 2, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 12, 1919, in Lloydell, to Phillip & Mary (Cooney) Eureka. Predeceased by brothers, Francis & Robert; sisters, Josephine Strippy & Mildred Eureka; and husband, James W. Caroff, Nov. 15, 2002. Survived by nieces: Karen, wife of Lancy Brunetto, Indiana, and Chris, wife of Larry Snyder, Pittsburgh; nephews: John, & wife, JoAnn Caroff, Milford, OH and Glen, & wife, Carol Caroff, Willoughby, OH. She graduated from Beaverdale High School and Indiana State Teachers College. She retired from Forest Hills School District after 43 years as an elementary teacher. Member, St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. Committal of her urn, St. John Gualbert Cemetery, Geistown. Dimond Funeral Home, South Fork.
