The funeral service for Joyce Lankford Rasco of Southaven, Miss., was planned at 11 a.m. today at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ in Southaven, where she was a member. Burial was to followed in New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake, Miss.
Visitation was Tuesday and today at the church. Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home in Hernando, Miss., was in charge.
Rasco, 63, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at her home.
Her husband Bobby Rasco survives.
Her father, Smith Lankford, lived in Paris.
She also leaves an aunt, Nelle Lankford Turbeville; and several cousins, all of Paris.
Rasco also was a daughter of Bess Lankford of Horn Lake.
She was employed with the city of Southaven water department.
She also leaves a daughter: Patty Rasco of Southaven; a son: Robby Rasco of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a sister: Becky Chapple of Southaven; and a brother: Wayne Lankford of Farmington, Minn.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: Raymond Lankford.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
