He was born May 21, 1939, to George and Rose (Moomaw) Anderson, at Nespelem. He graduated from Omak High School in 1957, then attended Tacoma Vocational School in 1959.
Mr. Anderson worked for the US Bureau of Indian Affairs in fire control and range management for several years. He later owned and operated the Chevron station in Nespelem.
He was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindy Lobe and Debbie Anderson, both of Omak, and Barb Harlow of Brewster; a brother, Jim of Omak; a sister, Ramona Moomaw of Omak; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 7, 1995, at 10:00 am from the Ft. Okanogan Cemetery in Monse, with Fr. Bob Erickson officiant. Precht-Harrison Chapel in charge of arrangements.
