Harry L. Allen
Harry L. Allen, 59, resident of Butte for the last 40 years, died Saturday night at the family home, 624 Maryland avenue.
Mr. Allen was a native of Pittsburgh and came to Butte as a young man to make his home. He was employed as a chef at Green's café.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Allen of Butte; a son, Frank Allen, who is serving with the armed forces, a son-in-law and four daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Albertson of Butte, Mrs. Louis Nurmi of San Francisco, Dorothy and Dolores Allen of Butte; a grandson, Terry Nurmi of San Francisco, and a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer P. Pearson of North Dakota.
The body is at Duggan's Merrill mortuary and funeral arrangements are pending.
