Deceased Name: Robert Terrell

Robert Terrell, 91, of Dalton died Friday, April 27, 2012, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Grace Terrell; five sisters and one brother. He was a World War II veteran and of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Hopkins County Coon Hunters Club and the VFW. He drove a school bus in Hopkins County for 30 years. He loved to hunt, fish, drink coffee with friends and listen to his hunting dogs run. He also farmed for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lillian Seymore Terrell of Dalton; two daughters, Sandy Dierlam of Columbus, Ohio, and Karen (Gary) Lewis of Manitou; two sons, Billy Joe Terrell of Enfield, Ill., and Kenny (Renae) Terrell of Hanson; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service is at 1 p.m. Monday at Melton Funeral Home. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday. The ministers are Brothers Roger Felker and J.R. Bruce. Interment is in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Princeton
