Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Roberts, 78, of 915 Rose Place died at 11PM
Friday in the Schmidt Nursing Home, Hopkins Road, where she had lived for the past five years.
Mrs. Roberts was born April 29, 1883, in Wales, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reese Lewis, and came to Youngstown 52 years ago from Ellwood, Indiana. She was a member of Pilgrim Collegiate Church, a national officer of the Welsh Club, and a past president of the Women's Welsh Club. Her husband, Richard L., former minister of the Elm St. Congregational Church, died in 1917.
Mrs. Roberts leaves three sons, Reese L. of Youngstown,
Virgil W. of Poland, and Alewyn L. of New York City; a brother, David T. Lewis of Lakeland, Florida and seven grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM Monday at the Davis-Velker Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM Sunday. The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the building fund of the Poland Methodist Church.
