Cecilia Hickey Adelsperger

Mrs. Charles E. Adesperger, aged 71, of 511 East Corby boulevard, active in local Catholic action circles and a prominent member of the Altar society of St. Joseph church, died in her home at 5:30 a. m. today. She had been ill nine weeks with a heart ailment.

Mrs. Adelsperger was born in South Bend May 12, 1871 and lived her entire life here. She was married in St. Joseph church as Cecelia B. Hickey to Charles E. Adelsperger, who survives. She leaves also four daughters, Mrs. Louise Gilroy and Mrs. Frank J. Miles, of South Bend; Mrs. Frederick Winkler, Cleveland, O., and Mrs. John D. Coffman, St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, William and Charles Adelsperger, South Bend, and 13 grandchildren.

Friends will be received after noon Saturday in the residence of Mrs. Miles, 1415 McKinley avenue, and until the funeral at 9 a. m. Monday in St. Joseph church. Rev. Wendell P. Corcoran, C.S.C., pastor, will sing the requiem mass. Burial will be in Cedar Grove cemetery.

Editor: Cecelia B. Hickey Adelsperger was the daughter of Louis and Julia La Fountain Hickey. She was the sister of Louis A., Louisa Hickey and Lillian Hickey Davies.
