Supposedly Father was from Tennessee and her Mother was from Virginia, however a great Aunt had said that she had come over on the boats from Ireland. This might be why she is only shown on the 1870 census after being married, there are no 1850, 1860 Census papers with her or her parents...
1900 Census shows her (56) living with her son in law James Josiah Clark widowed and only having one child, yet June 1870 Census shows her (22) with a second child and with her husband Carter Young (27)
At this time their two children were Betty 4 and Katy 8/12 months meaning Katy was born around Oct 1869
