Gladys Dunham was the first of the family to attend college.

The family moved to Port Orchard, WA in March, 1923 when the drought of Havre, MT made farming impossible.
They bought land sight unseen and got taken advantage of.

Gladys married Ed Iddings on June 10, 1923 in Tacoma, Washington.

Gladys was known for her bubbly personality. She was a gracious hostess. As one of her grandchildren I can honest say she was my role model for being a grandparent.

I never knew her to say an unkind word about any one. Gladys's passion was canning food.

She had a rough life but dealt with it with such grace.

Gladys was the passenger in a car that hit a tree. That accident caused her to have a kidney turn to stone 25 years later. She was in many research programs trying to find a way to solve her unique kidney situation. There was no cure.
