Mrs. Dwain (Almeda A. "Sis") Austin, 58, of St. Elmo died 12:15 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 10, 1979) in Heritage Home Care Center, St. Elmo.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in May Funeral Home, St. Elmo, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Beecher City.
Mrs. Austin was born in Fayette County, daughter of Lawrence and Margret Ellen Stubblefield Myers. She was a member of St. Elmo Church of God. She married Dwain L. Austin in 1939.
Surviving are her husband; daughter, Mrs. Randy (Kay) Hawkey of St. Elmo; brother, Ivan Myers of St. Elmo; sisters, Ruby Tavernier of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Alfred (Virginia) Cummings of Evansville, Ind.; one grandson.
