Chester was in the Red Arrow branch 42nd squadron of the Rainbow Division deployed to the Phillipines on the Island of Luzon in WWII.
He lost his face due to a Jap landmine on March 5 1945.

He married my mother, Eleanor Northup in 1952.
She is still living at age 95. Well & Healthy.
Chester's cause of death was Bone Cancer, but was caused from his initial Prostate Cancer in 1982.
I am his only child.
