GEORGE O. BRODERSEN

George O. Brodersen, 83, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away on January 20, 2012. He was born to Otto and Ida Brodersen in Waterloo, Iowa on July 10, 1928 and later moved to Elkhorn, Nebraska.
As a young man he went to Casper, Wyoming where he met and married Irene Brodersen on August 13, 1958. In 1962, they moved to Portland, Oregon and then later to Vancouver, Washington.
George was well known in the construction industry.
After retiring, George and Irene enjoyed travel in the motor home and took several cruises. George delighted in being with Irene no matter the event. They enjoyed 54 wonderful years together sharing life.
Survivors are his wife, Irene Brodersen of Vancouver, Washington; son, Don (Kay) Jandreau of Washougal, Washington; two grandkids, Nick (Kelly) Jandreau of Ridgefield, Washington and Wendy (Anthony) Baker of Graham, Washington; four great-grandkids, Ashlie (Tanner) Maiuri, Rene' Baker, and Austin and Brandon Jandreau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
George was cremated with a private internment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Washington.
