Funeral services for James F. Aker were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Wagener & Campbell chapel with Rev. John Gordon, pastor of the First Baptist church of Kalispell, officiating. Prelude and postlude organ music was played by Mrs. J. M. Carlson. Interment followed in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Jacobsen, John Rhone, Ed Nordtome, Ernie Hicks, Carl Miller and Chuck Cockrell.

James F. Aker was born Nov. 15, 1902 at Belton, Mo. In 1909 he moved with his parents to the Flathead Valley where grew to manhood and completed his schooling. He had continued to make his home here. At the age of 13 years he started in the electrical trade and had followed that work since. He had been employed with the Mountain States Power Co. and the Pacific Power and Light Co. since 1934.

On Dec. 24, 1930 he was married to Violet Hansen in Kalispell and is survived by his wife, Violet, at the family home near Kalispell. He is also survived by one son, James Aker; his father, Charles R. Aker and one brother, Forest Aker, all of Kalispell; a half-sister, Mrs. Helen Bruce of Tampa, Fla., and three grandchildren.

Mr. Aker died in Kalispell May 24 at the age of 58 years
