Mrs. May L. Ahrens died early Wednesday morning at Nuckolls County Hospital after a long illness. She was the mother of Roy Ahrens of Superior and was 86 years of age at the time of her death.

Mrs. Ahrens lived most of her life in the Rubens community until moving to Mankato. The past four years she has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Home in Superior.

Survivors include her three children, Roy of Superior, Charles of Fort Collins, Colo., and Mrs. Glen Knight (Clara Mae) of Topeka, Kan.; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Earl of Santa Ana, Calif.

The body is at the Cramer Funeral Home at Mankato. Funeral arrangements are pending at press time.
