Iven Garland Glasscock, 71, of Amarillo died May 2, 2014. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 5, 2014 at Llano Cemetery with Pastor Roger Smith officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.

Iven was born September 4, 1942 in Amarillo to Earl and Iva Glasscock. He married the love of his life, Sandra, September 2, 1966. Iven was the last of 14 siblings. He worked for IBP for over 29 years. He served as a deacon and was a licensed minister from Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Later, he became a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He had a loving and giving heart.

He is preceded in death by his son, Steven Glasscock. Iven is survived by his wife, Sandra, his daughter, Carmen Johnson and husband Roger Dale, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
