Stunt pilot. He was killed during the Thunder Over Solano Air Show at Travis Air Force Base near Fairfield, California. The crash occured during a routine known as 'Cutting the Ribbon' conducted in Andreini's 1944 Boeing PR13D Super Stearman bi-plane. Seventy-seven year old Ardreini was proficient in a variety of aircraft in addition to the Stearman, including his P-51D Mustang "Primo Branco" and 1996 (replica of 1945) Yak-9U "Barbarossa". He was also experienced in the Yak-55, Pitts Special and AN-2. He was inducted into the International Council of Air Shows Hall of Fame in December, 2013, and had been flying for 61 years. He was the son of Angelo ond Rosie (Guerra) Andreini.
