Perry E. Wacker was the son of Louis Frederick and Mabel Wacker.
He married Arlene about 1935.

PERRY E. WACKER
GRAFTON -- Perry E. Wacker, 91, of Grafton, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at the Elyria United Methodist Village, following a long illness. He was born Oct. 18, 1913, in Cleveland, and lived in Grafton for most of his life. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1932.
He worked in plumbing and heating out of the Steamfitters Local 42 in Norwalk for 37 years, retiring in 1979. He taught welding at local area schools.
He was a member of LaPorte United Methodist Church. He was a past president of the Steamfitters and Plumbers Local 42.
He enjoyed fishing, golf and helping family and friends with work projects.
Survivors include his daughters Barbara Terrell of LaGrange, and Sandra Schmidt of Sanborn, N.Y.; brother, Wade Wacker of Ashland; sisters Alice Amenhauser of Elyria and Irma Line of Worthington; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and one niece. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene in 1991; brother, Roy Wacker; and sister, Beth Wacker.
Private graveside services will be held Saturday at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange. A memorial service will be Sunday at 5 p.m. in the chapel at the Elyria United Methodist Village, 807 West Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Stacy Terrell and Chaplain Beth McKee will officiate.
