Mrs. Estelle Laverne "Penny" Hensley, age 77, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Mena.
She was born November 26, 1933 in Octavia, Oklahoma to the late Manassie "Bob" Lawrence and the late Ethel Linville Lawrence. Mrs. Hensley was a restaurant worker by trade and was of the Protestant faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by:

12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren
Brothers: Jerry Lawrence of Lyons, Oregon J.D. Lawrence Curtis Lawrence of Portland, Oregon
Sisters: Opal Smith Bertha Stiles of Mena, Arkansas Shirley Callahan of Culver, Oregon
She was preceded in death by her parents, by a daughter, Sharon Gentry, a sister, Ruby Lawrence, and a brother, R.B. Lawrence.
Graveside services will be Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hatfield with Brother Chad Hill officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening, November 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
