Dunkirk Officer Dies At Home in Dunkirk
Oscar Beck, 62, member of the Dunkirk police department, died Friday afternoon at his home here, after two weeks illness of pneumonia. He was also a former street commisioner.
Survivors include the widow, Daisy; one daughter, Mrs. Mabel West of Dunkirk; a foster daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Pavey, of Dunkirk; three grandchildren and one brother, Russell, of Niagra Falls, N.Y. He was a member of the Amrican Legion.
Funeral services will be conductef at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Main Street Methodist Church, in charge of the Rev. Henry Uhrick. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F Cemeery. Friends may call at the Jones mortuary.
