S/O James Franklin Cannon and Phila Jane Barnes. Harry James Sluman Cannon lived in Portage County area. We was a farmer. Had 65 acres on Burnette Road in Portage County. Was active in Civic afairs, school board president for 15 years, grange officer in Brimfield Township. He is buried beside his wife and daughter Mabel C. Stratton.

He was a man of integrity in his community.
